Batteries Europe will host its Plenary Session in June

Batteries Europe will be hosting its third Plenary Session on Tuesday 11th of June 2024, at the Hilton Brussels Grand Place in Brussels and online. This is following the BEPA General Assembly which will take place the day before on the 10th of June.

Batteries Europe chose to have the flagship event next to the BEPA General Assembly and the European Sustainable Energy Week to facilitate your travel to Brussels and maximise the presence of the battery community in a pivotal week for European Energy Storage.

Agenda

Our programme includes a broad range of subjects, such as the latest developments of the Critical Raw Materials Act and the Net Zero Industry Act, as well as the international observatory with viewpoints from South Korea and Japan. We will explore topics related to battery technology that cut across many fields, including social sciences, digitalisation, education, safety, sustainability, and hybridization. Moreover, we will talk about Europe’s new battery innovation strategy as well as examine the role of batteries in the future scenario of fully decarbonised transportation.

Our agenda’s last section will cover important topics related to battery innovation and industry expansion. We’ll start with an overview of Europe’s new battery innovation strategy and then move into talks about an expedited EBA Action Plan. We’ll then look at Battery2030+, and the projects under its umbrella covering the journey from mines to battery materials.
