World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) was hosted in Brussels on April 17, 2024
With a focus on circular battery technology, Brussels hosted the World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) 2024. The event took place on April 17, 2024.
From 14:30 to 16:00 CEST, a session was organised by Batteries Europe and the Batteries European Partnership Association (BEPA), with tremendous assistance from Circular Flanders, the Belgian Presidency of the Council, and the Department of Economy, Science, and Innovation (EWI). The forum addressed important technological, environmental, and social challenges while diving into the most recent developments in circular battery technology in Europe.
A lively panel discussion led by Fabrice Stassin was held after participants saw actual business cases from European trailblazers. Justo, Jyri Arponen from Sitra, Marcel Weil from Batteries Europe and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), and Rana Pant from DG ENV were among the distinguished speaker.
